Environmental Awareness

Since the Beach is in our back yard, it is the source of attention on many fronts, including keeping the waters and beaches clean and free from pollution.

Plastics, cigarette butts and other debris contribute to harming the wildlife. With monthly beach clean-ups, San Clemente Rotary members help our environment and our own health.
Since the city of San Clemente became a member of “Tree City USA,” San Clemente Rotary
has participated in improving the “urban forest” in the city. Using donated funds and grants, the club has donated many trees to the public areas in the city.
